WHO WE ARE
Just after the September 11th attacks a group of friends were having dinner in Florida. The conversation eventually led to the dangers and choices we had to make as a nation. We quickly found out that along with our core beliefs we had the same business philosophy. An Environmental Firm should be concerned with the health of its clients as well as the national interest. What began as dinner eventually lead to Decisive Action, LLC.

Mert Walther
Mert, another of the co-founders, has credible experience in many fields and with a number of innovative projects combining both technical and promotional disciplines. These included some unique cross promotion vehicles, electronic advertising displays, prepaid phone cards, and phone system promotions. Mr. Walther has many years of experience in systems design, including security, communication and audio systems, as well as working as a promotional consultant. His earliest and continuing efforts included work on various media projects and political campaign programs. Following High School in Abington, PA., Mert's educational experience includes an enlistment in the US Army Guided Missile Program. While in the Army, Mert bypassed a competitive appointment to West Point because the required re-enlistment included some unacceptable conditions. He chose instead to study Political Science at Penn State University after his discharge. His career has included engineering, marketing, and design. He left retirement, and like the other founders has embraced the project with a fervor, stating that this is by far, the most qualified group he has ever worked with.
Victor Piorun
Victor, another Decisive Action co-founder attended Drexel University and participated in their Hands on Experience Program at Princeton NJ, on the Princeton-Penn Linear Accelerator Project, and in New York City at the Atomic Energy Commissions Health Physics Laboratory. Vic learned early the meaning of extra effort and its attendant recognition. Victor worked with another Drexel student, Robert Etter, to design, develop and market the first commercial loudspeaker equalizer while they were still students at Drexel. Additional contributions they made to the audio industry include the first use of operational amplifier technology, ferro-fluid transducer design, satellite/ subwoofer systems, and transmission line loudspeaker design. Thank Vic and Bob for the Boom box Bass. Vic then applied his engineering skills to the design and development of high-tech computer based Telecommunication, IVR, and Security Management Systems for such clients as the Federal Reserve Bank, Independence Blue Cross, ADP, etc. As a Certified Protection Professional Mr. Piorun was founder and owner of a Security Management Corporation where he served as Vice President in charge of the Industrial/Commercial Division. Vic’s broad experience in security and engineering is augmented by his frequent consultant and design work with Mert Walther on several media and promotional projects including highly innovative election campaign programs.
